MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY ALUM PROVIDES TIME MANAGEMENT COURSE TO MSU GRADS AND CURRENT STUDENTS

Friday, May 21, 2004  East Lansing, Michigan

Randall Dean, a resident of East Lansing and MSU alum, recently provided a free time management training to a group of recent graduates and current students of the Full-Time Broad MBA Program at Michigan State University.  Says Dean, "I wanted to give something back to my school by providing a training in a critically important area that is often overlooked by many college programs."  The half-day training was well received by the participants, with 100% rating the program as above average or excellent.  One participant stated, "This program was exactly what I needed – it provided tips in all of my areas of weakness."

Jennifer Chizuk, Director of the Broad MBA Program, said, "It is nice that Randy has remained a close friend of the Broad School and Michigan State University.  Many students have requested training in time management, so his program certainly filled a need." She continued, "Many of our students leave the program and enter into very demanding positions and careers. Strong time management skills will be an important factor for their success."

Dean recently started a new company, Randall Dean Consulting & Training, to provide comprehensive time management training, with a specialization in helping companies and individuals better integrate and get more out of personal digital assistants (PDAs).

Prior to starting his firm, Dean was a market research supervisor at Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio, a subscriber services coordinator at The Fetzer Institute in Kalamazoo, the Director of Admissions for the Full-Time Broad MBA Program at MSU, and marketing strategist for Pace & Partners, a highly-regarded local marketing and advertising firm.  In 1997, he received honors for being one of the top graduates of the Broad MBA Program.  His Web site is www.randalldean.com.
