Randy Dean led a 2-hour course on better managing and handling e-mail and information overload today for the Human Resource Department at the University of Michigan. This course, open to all professional staff at the University of Michigan, was very well received by the strong majority of the course attendees. The course covered key strategies for managing e-mail, voice mail, "snail" mail, and the many other information sources that contribute to "information overload". Some of the comments that were provided by course attendees included: "Great presenter; knowledgeable about the subject; offered lots of good tips and reinforced the ones we already knew. He enjoys what he is doing, and the audiovisuals and handouts were great." "The instructor is very dynamic, presents well, and has valuable information to offer." "If the instructor (Randy Dean) is brought to (U. Michigan) HRD to teach other aspects of time management or organizational skills, I'd be quite inclined to take his courses." "Randy KNOWS his stuff. I hope to get as organized as him!"
